The Letters of Prada Logo

The easiest way to tell if your Prada bags are real or fake is to examine the letters of Prada Logo. The letters "P", "R", "A", "D", "A" on real Prada bags show special characteristics, as you can see from the illustration below. For example, the letter "P" should have a thin "tail" at the end of the stroke. • The metal plate of triangle is symbolic on many series of Prada bags. You can check the letters of "Prada" "Milano" on the plate. Real Prada bags should have the right shape of letters. Also you can see if the "DAL 1913" letters are clearly printed on the plate. Another interesting point to examine is the sign of human face. The two holes representing eyes should have equal size. The Metal Buckle and the Letters Engraved

• You can also compare the letters engraved on the metal buckle of Prada bags. As you can see from the picture below, the letters engraved on real Prada bags are deep and clear, but the letters engraved on fake Prada bags is shallow and may have blurs on the edge. That's because fake bags are using laser to carve the letters on the metal buckle but the metals on real bags are using a completely different process.

Zipper and the Zipper Plate

• Zipper and Zipper Plate is also very easy to tell if your Prada bags are real or Fake. For real Prada bags, the zipper is very smooth and easy to open and close. And the zipper plate should be in a shape of drop of water. However, if you examine fake Prada bags, the zipper will not function very smoothly when you open or close the bags, and the plate of zipper has some edges, which is very different from the water drop shape on real Prada bags.

The Appearance of Metal Parts

• You can also check the appearance of the metal parts on Prada bags. For example, you can check the hand ring on the bags, the metal parts on real Prada bags have the sign of friction and the surface is also very smooth compared to fake ones.
