The "Christian Dior" Logo on the Leather Plate

The easiest way to tell if your Dior bags are real is to examine the letters of "Christian Dior" logo on the leather plate. The letters are very special and not like any of the fonts in the computer. For example, you can examine the letter "C" of "Christian" and letter "D" of "Dior". For realy Dior bags, the letter 'D' has longer stroke in the bottom, which is longer than the ones on the top. However, the letter "D" of fake Dior logo have equal length of strokes in the bottom and on the top. Additionally, the letter "C" of real Dior bags should be in the shape of a round circle, but the fake one will not form a full circle. As you can see from the picture below, the upper one is from a real Dior bag and the lower one is from a fake Dior bag.

The Appearance of Metal Zipper

Another important check point of real Dior bags are the metal zipper part, especially the connection between two letters. The real Dior bags have equal thickness of connection between two letters, as shown in the upper bag of the picture below. But the fake Dior bags have unequal thickness of the connection between two metal letters, as shown in the lower one in the bottom.

The Inner Corner of the Large Logo 'D'

• Real Dior bags manufacture the logo "D" using a whole piece of metal, which makes the corner of the inner side very smooth. However, some fake Dior bags are using metal Logo manufactured separate and welded later, which makes the inner corner not very smooth. You can even see the sign of welding materials connecting two parts together easily. And you can easily tell if your Dior bags are real or fake by examing the smoothness of inner corner of the logo "D".

Serial Numbers on the Leather Plate

• The easiest way to tell if your Dior bags are real or fake is to examine the serial number printed on the leather plate. If you look at the digit closely, you can see that the digits on real Dior bags are clearly printed end engraved on the letter place. However, the digits might have a flat bottom on the fake Dior bags. As you can see from the picture below, the bottom one is a fake Dior bag, and the digit '0' and '5' have a flat printing in the bottom, which is very different from naturally printed digits on real Dior bags.

The abbreviation of "CD" on the metal part

• You can also check the abbreviation of "Christian Dior" "CD" logo engraved on the metal parts. For real Dior bags, the engraved letters should be deep and clear. But for the fake Dior bags, the letters are engraved shallow and may have blurs on the edges. That's because fake Dior bags are using laser to engrave the letters and may cause the blurs on the edges.

The Accessories on Dior Bags

• You can also examine the metal accessories on Dior bags. As you can see from the picture below, the upper one is real and the lower one is fake. For real Dior bags, the surface of the metal accessories is very smooth and clean. However the surface of accessories on fake Dior bags are not smooth enough and may look a little bit dark and can reflect natural lights very well.
