Gemini 2 model and applications are released by Google by Dec 2024 as their latest flagship large language models, togetother with AI Agents abilities, including project Astra for multimodal understanding, project Mariner for complex tasks fulfilling, and Jules as agents for developers.
Some of Gemini 2 excited new features, such as multi-modal understanding and lens maps tool use, are still work in process and not ready for end customers to use. So I am still a little bit disappointed about the release. It's kind of like a response to OpenAI's 12 days release.

We are seeing more applications of robotaxi and self-driving vehicles worldwide. Many large companies such as Waymo, Tesla and Baidu are accelerating their speed of robotaxi deployment in multiple cities.
