The Serial Number on the Leather Plate

The easiest way to tell if your Gucci bags are real is to examine the serial number printed on the leather plate. If you look at the digit closely, you can see some special point shape at the end of the stroke. For example, you can see the two digits "2" and "3" in the picture below have the round points at the end of strokes printed on the leather plate.

• You can also check the letters "G", "U", "C", "C", "I" carved on the metal zipper to tell if your Gucci bags are reak or fake. The real Gucci metal zipper has the letters clearly carved, while the fake ones will have scratches on the letters. Additionally, the carving on the zipper is deep on the real Gucci bags, and shallow on the fake Gucci bags. This is also a easy tip to tell the differences between real and fake Gucci bags.

• The double-G metal logo in the front is also an important part to examine. The metal parts should be cast and shaped in a whole piece. If you examine the connection between two G letters and find out there are electric welding materials, the bags are very likely to be fake. On the contrary, if the two letters on the bags are in a whole piece, the bags are very likely to be real Gucci bags. For example, in the picture below, the upper bag is real and the lower one is fake. That's because you can see electric welding signs on the connected metal parts.

• The washing labels of some Gucci bags are specially designed, which consist of two distinct materials. If you look at the washing labels closely, the upper part above the letters are using one kind of hard materials, which is completely different from the lower part. And if you touch the materials, these two materials feel very differently also.
