The name of Tesla's release conference is "We, Robot" so there is definteley more than one robot released. The robotaxi or "cybercab", the Robovan (robot of minivan) and humanoid robotics Optimus. And he did mentioned that the batteries, vision modules and intelligent systems are reusing the technologies of the tesla cars. There is high probability that Optimus Humanoid Robots will at least share some common technologies infrastructures with the Tesla cars. Other key data: Operating cost of a Cybercab will be as low as 20 cents per mile. Robovan will have enough space for 20 people. And Optimus will cost around 20,000 t0 30,000 USD.

For Tesla Cybercab robotaxi review, some quick takeaways from yesterday's release conference, Elon Musk mentioned a few points of this new model: 1. Affordable, Robotaxi operating cost will be much lower than other types of transportation. For example, compared to Bus which costs around 1 dollars per mile, the robotaxi or cybercab will only costs 20 cents per mile and taxi will costs around 40 to 60 cents per mile. 2. Safety of Self-Driving System. The self driving systems are trained on millions of experiences. At least Elon claims that Self-Driving car are trustworthy and much safer than many people thought. In the live video, there are also Robovans and Humanoid robots demonstrations. Personally, I am expecting to see what level of intelligence will the cybercab reach? Before seeing more real-life experiments, I will still be skeptical about how he claimed. Indeed, the design of the car is just so fashionable.

Excited to use this past weekend while visiting friends in San Francisco! Had five flawless trips on Saturday and really enjoyed the experience. The driving and choices it makes are way more natural feeling than my FSD Tesla. One glitch on Sunday. Was by myself and added a stop to see Lombard street and I jumped out to take a pic and it left me. lol. Apparently you can’t get out. What sucked is support could only send the car to the depot not back to me, so I had to get another Waymo go all the way up to the depot and get my bag I left in there.

My friend and I were checking prices for rides from my house to a restaurant when we noticed something. Their Waymo app was offering the same ride for $3-4 less than mine. Prices have been 2x more expensive for me lately, and I assumed Waymo was just generally more expensive now vs a year ago. It appears that there is either some setting or algo reason for my rides to be more expensive than people requesting the same exact ride. I'm wondering if there is there a way to get more transparency on this. Seems odd to charge two people making the same request at the same time different amounts.

Waymo was about to pick me up then drove past and swapped me for another one. Wait time said 5mins. Took at least 2x that. Then just before pickup (I could see it approaching) app said they were sending me a different one. Total wait time about 20mins. Is this common?
